Dida works in soft pastels to create life-like pet portraits from your own photographs. She is passionate about capturing the personality of your pet as well as an incredible likeness.
Commissions are welcome for any animal or bird.
- How to commission a portrait
Email your photograph, your pet's name and your contact details to linda@didadesign.co.uk - Dida will then contact you within a few days. A completion date can be agreed (usually 3-6 weeks, longer on the run up to Christmas!) & you will be asked to pay a 50% deposit before work starts. Payment can be made by cheque or PayPal (you can also pay by credit card through PayPal). Please note that photographs need to be of good quality and close-up on the pet.
If your commissioned portrait is to be a gift please advise of best form of contact - she would hate to spoil a surprise!
The most popular sizes are:
6" x 4" (15cm x 10cm) - £70
Presented in a cream mount, unframed
(only suitable for 1 subject - not as detailed as the larger
portraits eg in the eyes, most important with cats)
8" x 6" (20cm x 15cm) £150
Presented in a cream mount
12" x 12" (30cm x 30cm) £300

Dida can work to any dimension you require up to A1 so please email if you have specific requirements & she will provide a quote.
Dida's standard T&C apply and the following also apply:
Payment - 50% deposit is required before work starts. On completion, final payment is required before your portrait is mailed to you by 1st class recorded delivery. Both payments can be made by PayPal through commission payments or by cheque (which has to clear before your portrait is posted)
